Sneak Peek - Aneeta and Ray

Last night's wedding was a true success! This intimate group of bride, groom and 14 guests laughed their way through the night proving that small celebrations don't mean any less fun! Here is a quick peek at their romantic and candlelit dinner table!

But before we post any more April photos, we still owe you images from a March wedding that, despite unexpected rain, was a heavenly day!

Stay tuned!

Silvia and Peter - Dreams Resort

Despite snow falling in the US, Puerto Vallarta continues to greet visitors with clear skies, lots of sunshine and beautiful scenery! Such was the early December day when Silvia and Peter married at Dreams Resort!

The bride requested turquoise, more turquoise and even more turquoise with a few touches of the color coral. We granted her wish and went a step further to design personalized ceremony programs and dinner menus that replicated their scrapbook-style wedding website!

The ceremony took place on the beach beneath a white iron gazebo with flowing chiffon in tones of the bride’s blue; turquoise glass drops and white dendrobium orchids hung from inside the gazebo, and Mexican mosaic vases filled with orchids lined the aisle.

And this we loved! The bride boycotted the tradition and sent us this picture as inspiration for an alternative floral bouquet!

We came up with this beautiful version which Silvia absolutely loved!

Following the ceremony, guests were invited to a nearby terrace for cocktail lounging, an intimate dinner and an evening of dancing!

Seating areas surrounded the gazebo where more turquoise glass drops and orchids hung, and special personalized details were incorporated into the set up!

One dinner table was set for 33 guests, creating an intimate, candlelit dinner celebration!

A very special dinner included a live grilling station from which guests ordered directly from the grill!

And to top it off, Charme Reposteria created yet another gorgeous wedding cake for us!

Congratulations Peter and Silvia!

p.s. For those of you interested (because EVERYONE asks us about dresses they see on the site), Silvia designed her own dress! You can find her at Penelope.

Amber and Jason - Dreams Resort

Amber’s only request was to not wear shoes! She wanted to show off her heels only up to the beginning of the ceremony aisle, then kick them off and spend the rest of the evening barefoot and beautiful! And she did just that!

Jason and Amber married at Dreams Resort on May 9th. The color palette for this wedding was turquoise, chocolate brown and green. The bride and groom wanted a feeling of nature-inspired elegance on the beach, and this is what we came up with! Enjoy!

Bridal party flowers were kept simple, elegant and primarily white – the bride showed off a beautiful blend of white tulips, white dendrobium orchids and green cymbidium orchids, and bridesmaids carried tulips! The men wore mini white tulips.

The ceremony and reception décor was kept very natural, focusing on sea grass, willow and white orchid blossoms. A path of white rose petals tossed on the aisle right before the ceremony started welcomed the bride (and her bare feet)!

A breezy lounge was set up for guests beneath the beach palapas. Chiffons in the couple’s color palette accented the simple white beach furniture, and clusters of orchids, sea grass and willow were tucked in the sand around the base of each palapa.

Guests’ seating cards were arranged in sand and touches of grass and set to one side of the cocktail lounge.

Dinner tables set around a dance floor were dressed in deep chocolate fitted linens with vertical turquoise runners. White pillar candles in vases filled with sand, more arrangements of orchids, willow and sea grass as well as individual orchid blossoms ran the length of the table. Chair backs were tied with a beautiful design fabric.

One of my very favorite elements of this event was the cake! A beautiful and simple tri-level round cake with chocolate ribbon detailing the top and bottom layer and a special, hand-made wrap (same fabric as lounge pillows and chair ties!) for the middle layer! Sooo pretty!

This setup went from a lovely light feel in the daylight to a romantic ambiance with dinnertime candlelight to gorgeous glow for nighttime dancing!

And just a little extra for those who love photos . . . here’s my favorite from this wedding!

Thank you Amber and Jason for being so relaxed, so cool, so kind and so fun to work with!
